Técnica de enseñarte primero el producto que quieren vender

Hay ocasiones en las que compramos algún artículo, y cuando reflexionamos no estamos seguros de por qué lo hemos adquirido. Puede suceder que hayamos “caído” en un truco de ventas que es tan sencillo como efectivo, y que no es otro que colocar primero el producto que nos quieren vender.
Es decir, si queremos comprar, por ejemplo, pañales de recién nacido, podemos encontrar todas las marcas, pero será una determinada la que veamos primero. En los supermercados, sabemos que los lineales están diseñados de forma que lo que cae en nuestra línea de visión es lo que, probablemente, incluiremos en la cesta.

El efecto de la prioridad

Este efecto lo conocemos de muchas formas: la primera impresión es la que cuenta, la comida nos entra por los ojos, y lo más probable es que el producto que veamos primero tenga más probabilidades de entrar en nuestra cesta que cualquier otro.
La razón no es sencilla, pero lo cierto es que está comprobado que ante dos objetos de similares características, gana la partida el que se presenta primero (salvo en el caso de propiedades inmobiliarias). Todo esto se hace más evidente cuanto menos tiempo tengamos para pensar, cuanto más rápida sea la decisión. Eso implica que prima el subconsciente.

Se le puede llamar de muchas formas, pero esto es una preferencia clara a lo que va primero: tendemos a fijarnos más en quién destaca de un grupo porque lo vemos primero (y asumimos que es un líder, que es mejor, etc.), tendemos a comprar lo que tenemos más a mano de entre un grupo de productos muy similares, y todo ello siempre que no nos paremos a reflexionar, es decir, en la cola del super, por ejemplo.

El asunto tiene mucho interés y mucha más profundidad de la que le hemos dado aquí, pero es interesante conocer las triquiñuelas para vendernos ese objeto que, por lo demás, no elegiríamos conscientemente. O al menos, no elegiríamos destacando ninguna característica sobre los demás.
